A little girl lay on the ground,
She is no where to be found.
She has been beaten and is far away from home,
Right now she is scared and feels alone.
She yells a cry for help, but is not heard,
No one can hear the pain in her words.
All that she can do is cry,
The only thing running through her mind is that she is going to die.
Her parents go looking for her that very day,
They are afraid their baby has been taken away.
They knew that this was a bad dream coming true,
They just did not know what to do.
A chill went up the father's spine.
Before and one could do anything, he was out of line.
The father starts to go looking around,
Then he watches the boys he killed blood pour to the ground.
They said to him he was not strong,
They told him what he did was wrong.
He was arrested and thrown in jail,
The judge refused to let him out on bail.
No one could stand to look at his face.
They did not care, no matter what race.
They finally let him go to be back with his wife,
Some people still wanted to take his life.
A boy said this man deserves to die,
If he lives he would be living a lie.
They tried to prove that they were right,
All it did was start a fight.
This was life in the past,
Is it safe to say it did not last?
Still to this day to many people are full of hate,
Don't you think we should get along before it's too late?
