Why can't we be safe everyday?

Why can't we come to you?
Why can't we go to school?
Why can't we learn about the golden rule?
Why can't we go out for a ride?
Why can't we feel safe playing outside?
Why can't we just get away from here?
Why can't we stop living our life in fear?
Why can't we finally be free?
Why can't we be like me?
Why can't we have a boy?
Why can't we live a life filled with joy?
Why can't we learn how to write?
Why can't we keep our children from getting into fights?
Why can't we just go out and run?
Why can't we go out and have some fun?
Why can't we go out and be safe on the streets?
Why can't we be safe from being beat?
