There is a way back to color,
To flower blossoms
And the vivid living
That must occur
In order for the soul to expand.

I'm not saying it
Should come from outside.
The blaze must be fed
From inside one's own heart,
The source of all higher vibrations.

But, kindling can be a core donation -
A love, a kind word,
An encouragement,
Another soul's investment
Of time and energy,
“I care about you”
Given at the the moment of ignition.

There is a way back to satiety,
The path strewn with
The fragrance of love unfolding,
The manifestations of which
Are inner-outer bi-ways
Along life's most amazing trails.
