for you to have the very best
So come now put me to the test
For you I'm better than the rest

From your action I perceive
that what you do is deceive
I find it hard to believe
that you some day I may receive

For now I think I'd be rejected
I hope some day to stand corrected
Perhaps I should have inspected
to find my heart was still infected

I have an utmost desire
that you some day I would inspire
My feelings hang from a thin wire
It's obvious now, you all conspire

Why do you all contrive
Where do these action derive?
I wish you would not deprive
of my need to feel alive
