Dawn (the soap)

by Johnny Crimson

A heart-tweak
an instant
that made us belong

a salt lake
and scissors
a silk failing gong

that makes waves
but no sound
yet we're sure something is wrong

though we take it
and the avenue
grew from longer to long

as we're shaking
for conscious
like a drunk constant dawn

like this verse here
says old words
like a re-occurring wrong.
