my mind burdens me with excess thought
In the animal kingdom with people scurrying about
their cars, stop signs and commerce
well it just feels like a big storm of nothing
going nowhere and evolving faster ways
to get there
I enjoy standing in its wind knowing
that it must move around me
while simultaneously taking me away
from ideas thoughts of what it means to be an I
to even say I or Me and believe it to be true
sometimes I means You
So i struggle through this muck called personality
like an overgrown jungle
if i ever make it to the tip of this mountain
ill breath slowly and lie to share what i see
and with the weight of that illusion
