Ganesha's Dream

by Michael Defries

All my light

In all the worlds;
Spread through
The diffusity of liberal ends;
Seeking arrival at the descent of humankind
Beneath the cover of early mosses, of growth

and measure; as the springtime meadow air
Breezes into the breadth of wilderness;
A space unknown | to those wanting to digest
the precipice of winter frost, left hard-but-thawing;
Slow-melts | traversing liquid samurais across millennia.

The panache of jeweled-auras moving beyond satire
into an encapsulated balance of tethered quantum strings
permeating desires; and caressing cadence and tempo;
Rhyming undulations of unheard memories; seeping
Far into the ether between reality and imagination.

Sitting upon all high; almighty observers spread sheaths
of fabrics, woven into lyrics of collective phenomenon;
Pressing consciousness forth through its own elaboration
of myriad contexts, moving to meet the knowledge of
infinitesimal grasps, that hollow the reach of Ganesha’s
faint assembly of collages; drawn-over, million fold;

Folded, ever-conceptually, into perceptual escapes of
free meadows | lying in the candid purple-pinks, and
crisp scents of the most perfect day’s air - sentient
in the arousal of the errant undulations of verse;

Poured over the sheen of emotional contentedness;
Perfection grasped in every hidden fold-of-light;
The way ever-soft thoughts of caressing -the nature
of reality; finds seepage through the tiny dimensions
perceived in the forgotten forgetting

of dreamt awakeness.

"an encapsulated balance of tethered quantum strings"--I like that line and the way its mathematical concept weaves its way through this poem. The whole thing turned out to be more than I was expecting. Nice job.

Particularly like the line "in the arousal of errant undulations of verse". A read aloud for its rhythm and tempo.
