Touching Samadhi

by Michael Defries

I exist in the dark space,
the hollow of creation;
the womb’s abyss;

An eternal palace
of self induced;
dreamstates of reality;

Pressing in
on pockets of space;
moving objects to its center.

Chaotic struggles of our water;
finding an equilibrium,
that was never there;

Some illusion |

of a paradise, deemed real;
tangible at every corner;
detailing illusion;

Folding in on itself;
into semi-concentric
waves of bliss.

Touching samadhi,
and entering nirvana,
before arriving, physically,

and while arriving
spiritually,
as the dreamer of reality.
