I put in detergent and bleach.
Then really dirty socks and clothes.
I push “Start”
Hot water, soap and bleach
Flip the clothes over one way
Then it stops and flips them over the other way.
Toss and turn, back and forth.
Violent, then gentle.
Not like a fight, but rather,
like and argument between
two people who love each other.
If it goes as it should,
the dirty water goes down the drain.
and you are left with clean.
