i wish to be nothing
but a bed of lavender flowers
a bush sitting in a garden
filled with honeybees
and free from sorrows
emitting that therapeutic
essence

a cool scent in the breeze
so grandma won't feel scared of me
and mother will draw near
and those two old souls will glow
basking in the light of their own
peaceful smiles
in my garden

perhaps joining hands
in peace at last
and melding
into one
encompassed
by love, beauty and
my sweet aroma
