Like unwanted cells in a body
Beating me up
Dragging me down
Someday, I just want to be free
Happy
Loved
In a body that just feels right
Unconditionally heartfelt
Wanted
Needed
I long for that day
I lie here
Lying to myself in rage
Crashing into barriers of disgust
Loathing
Disaster
Though tomorrow is another day
Fortifying gratitudes that I endure
Thankful for just another day
Where obstacles rectify my cell's souls.
