I love to sit and view
the parade of people
passing by.
I often wonder why
they are heading this way, or that,
what they are thinking
and where they are coming from.

Airports are the best,
bus stations the worst,
everyone is going somewhere,
usually in a hurry,
typically with some sense of purpose,
often with a nonchalant air.

It always somehow inspires me
watching this cavalcade of humanity
flowing through their lives.
I just love to watch.
