Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Sown by JJ JohnsonNobody knows the trouble I've sown
Nobody sees darkness in one so alone
Will I be forgiven if her heart turns to stone?
Or will I die lonely and burried unknown?
Oh No! Death
Don't come for me now
Before I end up six feet under the ground
My soul needs forgiveness before I lay down
Where eternities waiting to make ashes of me
Oh No! Death, I'm not ready to descend below
While she still has the power to set my soul free
Nobdy knows but Jes's
Nobody knows the sorrow I feel
For the love I pretended that never was real
Please allow me the last word to pray my appeal
Nobody knows me or what I have done
Nobody but Jes's
Can cut the rope from my tree
But Lord, Jes's won't ever forgive my lustful dark sins
For a call that I made She'll never forgive me
Unless the risen son enlightens the dawn
Oh No! Death
Please allow me one final breath
To find redemption
To beg Lord Jes's down on my knees
In my final confession
Where the truth cannot freeze
Oh No! Death
Don't touch me until the words are spoken
Grant me a pardon from her poetic pen
Stay the sentence of "death"
Else every memory of me will be destroyed
With my forgotten lost soul declared Null and Void

Though inspired by it, this wasn't actually written to the tune of "Nobody Knows The Trouble I've Seen", though I suppose it could be stretched a bit here and there. Listen to Leana Horne's amazing rendition @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCvyzQD8q18
