maybe like 20 years ago

I was watching afternoon TV

and living with my parents because I was a loser

daytime TV is the worst

it makes you feel like committing suicide

especially those commercials with

Sally Struthers

who wants you to go to school and become a gun smith or clerk

fuck both of those things

I'd rather stay home and watch Betwitched or CHiPs

anyway

one day I was watching Giraldo Rivera

there was this family from the south who was or were trying to divorce their mother

she was a slut, apparently

the son, who was about 7 years old,

wearing a big ten gallon hat and cowboy boots

spoke proudly "Mama, youz a cigarette sucking whore and we don't love you no more"

the mom broke down in tears

"ah shit, how sad I thought"

life is so sad

it never works out for most of us

all we can do is give it our best

or worst,

most of the time our its our worst

then the phone rang

both of my parents were at work

yes'um I answered

Hi this is so and so

yes'um I said

he went on and on

finally I asked when he was done talking

would you like to come over and fuck my tight little aching butt?

he was gone...

then my mom got home

when she got home she was always mad

then my dad got home

when he got home he was always mad

sometimes we had dinner as a family

but most of the time

I would say like 9 times out of 10

we did not

I never liked family dinners or anything

I liked being alone

and finally I got my wish

and moved out
