Reevaluating love on its
eve of yet another destruction and
perplexed by my willingness to
readily let it happen again
elevates my consciousness,
heaving the truth forefront as
every heart beats facades
now and forever
signaling my final surrender as
I just can’t do it anymore
because what’s the use with this
love game and its never-
ending stream of anguish?
