Marionette of Skin

by Bertram Sparagmos

The madmen died away in the roar of empirical valor
But I cradle their dreams
In a black double helix

Those that cannot be overcome at once
Will yield
When taken little by little

No matter how much the stars say
They love her
She still wants to see the sun

But I asked her
Stay with me tonight
To find these dreams
Before they come to bury me
I'll be waiting up all night for you
With the concept
My model's made for you

I agree with Steve....that is my favorite line. And it speaks a world for such tiny words. Beautiful!
