Into The Memory Lane
by Vimal RonyOnto the pavements
of my Memory Lane,
like Autumn leaves
they fall-
Memories.
From those trees;
Some are deep-rooted.
Some are fresh,
some eroded
with time.
Along the way
many have been planted;
Some are strong
Some are near, some distant.
But,
That Eternal One-
The one You planted,
It is the One.
Underneath it, I breathe.
Its every leaf, I gather.
Every leaf a flower.
Its every line, I read.
I remember everything:
Your,
Eyes and its Stars.
Smile and its wonder.
Pain and its ache.
Heart and its shape.
Love and its Map;
Everything that You are.
One day,
If it's meant to be-
I'll be walking,
holding your love-forged hands,
along the Starlit pavements
that shape Your Heart.
Mine,
for you,
is already laid down;
Strewn with Autumn leaves of memories-
Lit up by the lanterns of Love.
Walk in...
It yearns-
for your breeze.
And, its Love.
Into my arms...
Underneath that tree-
That eternal One
which You planted
into the Memory Lane
of my Heart.
Your touch-
Its very existence.
