your rigamarole
means little
if nothing to me

I dwell in the probability
of who I am.
accomplishing
what I want,
and when I want it.

when I want it

Little else matters
so I remain undaunted
at the chance.
the opportunity
of remaining who I am
as opposed to what

you want me to be
what you think I should be.

In this verse
I am never set free.
