Child Suicide by Johnny CrimsonPlease subtle child keep your balance
I realize it's been a battle,
and although living is quite uncommon,
please keep that death taste off your conscience.
So just as long as you're conscious
do phone your old sitter, Constance.
She kept that Florida souveneir Dolphin
with blue water filtering constant.
I'll cut down and be honest
I never knew you well Johnson,
but living is not an option,
well, it's more like a problem.
It's entirely possible
that the real problem
or shall I say promise,
is based on the fact that you feel as if you're not wanted.
I'll leave this unfinished...(like you)

Posted by Elizabeth Jill on 05/08/13 at 03:51 PM Having found this in April, it has remained with me. The sheer depth of sadness and authenticity has a hold on me, and this is why poetry - like such here - pulls me into itself, by God, this is awesome. |
