Afraid by Danny WashingtonYour conscience will never bring harm to others
Afraid we'll forget to be afraid for all our lives
One day you started to make some sounds
And the outlook was bleaker than you could know
What is the urge to reach some other level?
How can all of these strangers be lost
The forced him onto the vapour
He has to keep moving
And can do things that are evil
That's why I look at the stars so much
We make the rules and then we enforce them
No wonder hate is everywhere in overgrown unhappy homes
You set the tone I forgive you for that
I shouldn't have laughed when you tripped and fell
In the hospital they were relentless
They gave us a gift which frightened me
You nearly said I was a decent man
If I don't hold you up things will only get worse for me 04/13/2013 Posted on 04/13/2013 Copyright © 2024 Danny Washington
