Side B by Jared OrlandoOut in a corner of a room,
A light that never shines
Brought my eyes to a sight
Of you softly flipping through
My record collection
You'd stop, shake your head
At Radiohead
You'd smile and pet
Genesis' Duke
Ignoring classical
Losing yourself in the
Blacks and blues of
The Coltrane artwork
Quietly judging
With your sweet smirk
Putting your weight on one leg
And then the other
Knowing that
No matter what we put on the player
We will still resort to reclining
And when the needle pulls away
Making the speakers shriek and blare
We are too busy to turn over
To Side B
And I'm sure the neighbors are
Pounding their fists on my walls
But the warm breath on my neck
And crackles reverberating
The hairs on your arms
Have me touching you
