no one calls me stupid anymore

by Vikki Owens

fathoms of vapidity,
but no one revels in my stupidity anymore,
i have achieved gold stars,
and the scars have faded to a sallow shade, faded
and irrelevant to the masses of judgement,
oh here i am a doctorate of erudite and knowledgable
lads and lasses,
here i am amongst the classes of well known and blue blooded educated masses,
oh but does the tag placed on my toe
recite all the many achievemets i have reached,

no.

no one judges me like i was judged,
and no one places black marks on my tongue or body,
except me.
