Tiny little wingbeats by Angela StevensAnd; butterflies and moths,
when you're in glass houses,
nudging every simple inch,
watching transparent replicas,
amid suffocation in glass
Don't forget to flick
your antennas in the
heavenly direction 02/28/2013 Author's Note: I think my poetry is mostly a mish-mash of ideas and images with some kind of message (mainly only known by me!) linking it all together. I know I am not good at communication, whether it is poetry or face-to-face. But this poem is as simple as it gets.

Posted by Richard Vince on 03/05/13 at 07:55 PM beautiful, like so many simple things are. :) i found your author's note interesting, as for me, poetry is less about communication and more about expression; i.e., i say things not because i want people to hear them, but because i need to say them. the way you described your poetry just makes it sound like poetry to me. :) you're too hard on yourself. |
