Comic Relief

by Joan Serratelli

You need to laugh
in the face of Fate
You need to tell them
that They got you
where you are

Now- get me out

Love- leave it to Fate
and you end up like me
I not only

tempted
FATE, I ran straight into

HIM
and life has not
been the same

((It was)
not my fault
(It was) written
in the stars
Before I was even born
I have freedim of choice
but that fateful day
He appeared out of
nowhere

I was only 15
I looked into his eyes
…and….
call me a liar;
but I remember it
exactly this way

I looked into his eyes
and I saw
my future.

…and so it goes…

Until DEATH us do part.

Author's Note: In retrospect; I should have ran the other way. LOL

Laughter tends to be worth a try. Nicely put.
