The fog of shopping
Makes a mockery
Of my neat shopping list,
Coming home with items
I really don't need
Not buying everything
On my shopping list,
I entered the supermarket
With great confidence
Of a quick and easy shopping trip,
But soon my grocery cart
Was filled with this or that
But not that or this,
I blame the fog of shopping.
