i dreamt that you were still alive,
i saw the sunlight in your eyes,
when i awoke you were not there,
your memory is everywhere.

i feel your laughter in this place,
my body still in your embrace,
i don't know how to let you go,
my broken heart may never know.

your eyes like oceans in my mind,
i know that i will never find
a man whose hands are made for me,
a love that feels so meant to be

in every space that i can give
