his perception

by Charlie Morgan

as Kai is muttering his beautiful
non-sense to a Mensa graduate,
explicating time and existence,
i twist the mirror to see him;

his confident understanding of what
he's saying tied-up in a smirk, one
he doesn't know he has: "Papaw when
God is done with this world he'll
just build another one for me and Livvy,
and we're gonna live there for a long time.

right Papaw? and you and Uncle Don, and Aunt Jeanie
and GO GO can come stay with us, ok? Papaw, ok?

"then, ya'll can go home. you can't stay with us forever."

I love the continuing saga of you and your GRandson. I can picture it and it's a very loving picture :-))
