explaining time and life or a day playing with my brain by Charlie Morgan
it's so general; the specifics, i mean.
and the specifics: so general.
one starts at the end;
it is the beginning.
grab the tail for it's the head;
(take a breath, a golfer's turn)
then you forge forward like it's a child's day;
full of seconds-to-spend and all day to do it.
the knowledge will be there. for a nano-second,
you will know it about everything, everybody.
it leaves in a blindness of exposure; dedication
the most un-understood awareness, ever understood.
you're almost God but know full-well you're not.
immediatelty, you hardly have a trace of memory left.
i have castles' to build, moats for protection for
all the things that own me; my possessions.
a day playing with my brain

| Posted by Gail Wolper on 12/15/12 at 01:51 AM I like this, it's clever and cute and meant to be a bit confusing, that is part of the point! This line, however, is I think a bit too confusing,
'the most un-understood awareness, ever understood.'
but perhaps that is just me. Nice! |
