Two weeks today
Marking the time
Since you first entered my life.

Two weeks to learn
More about me
And the methods I use to cope.

Discovering more about
What triggers you
The path you chose
And the sensations you use.

Discovering how
Each choice that I make
Revives the feelings
Of hate and betrayal

Two weeks have passed
And each day I learn more
My understanding increases
My tolerance grows

Yet, each day that dawns
My hope is renewed
My faith is restored
I'm one day closer to victory over you!

Author's Note: This was composed on my phone as a status update on facebook. I've been dealing with debilitating pain for two weeks today, with no answers as to cause or resolution.
