English Is Size-matically Evil by Dan Garcia-BlackThere is a built-in dishonesty about this language.
The length of words can be deceiving.
Live, 4 letters, is longer than die, three letters.
Good is longer than bad.
Glad and sad,
healthy and ill,
young and old.
English seems to say that size is important.
Bigger is better (in common usage).
Medical terms, you might protest, are all big
and usually mean something bad.
However, they are Latin or Greek words, not English.
But, I digress.
I just want to point out that
sad is always bigger and
lasts longer than any kind of happy.
And the condition of being dead will be the biggest,
longest thing you will ever encounter.
So throw away your ruler and preconceptions
about words and size.
Let’s have SEX so we can both feel that
huge JOY when we CUM (three letters).
