we change with the seasons

by Lydian Beck

The fall of the first autumn leaf
Sparks the cycle of seasonal grief
I tried to shed my winter skin
So in the spring we could begin again
But my coat had become as hard as stone
And sunk right through to my bones
Summer came and off it melt
Along with the feelings you once felt

If your feelings melt with the summer heat how strong can they be?? Still a well written poem.
