Our Love Lets No Matter Escape

by Bertram Sparagmos

My mind
Gripping, grasping, a gravitational field raising aloft
Love, hatred, control, all too much at once
Tumultuous
Held in tenuous binary systems as it seeps over the precipice of high speed jets of thought

You spat your affections, seized into my accretion disk
Swirling, spreading blackness
So bright I must turn my eyes away
Inching across infrared spectrums
Unto what could be the cosmic coalescence of our mutual knowing
When the cracked lens your love shines through
Fell into the singularity where my feeling self collapsed inward
And decayed

I do not absorb
But throw the mass of your feelings into extant space

We are two black holes
And have left emptiness in our ergospheres
But when the apexes of our event horizons meet
There is stunning eminence
As we shower the universe
In brilliant sparks
