Wingtip To Wingtip

by James Zealy

Wingtip to wingtip skyglider high
Effortless wind swimmer disguised

wingtip to wingtip a predator sails
Circling movements of its head pale

Wingtip to Wingtip unseen above
Gracefully soaring to paralleled hover

Wingtip to Wingtip in a turquoise sea
Aviator of life escapes being seen

Wingtip to wingtip I feel fierce crys
Wailing freedoms wistful goodbye

Wingtip to wingtip he sees his kill
Circling diving to take by his will

Wingtip to wingtip its his only path
Attack survive warrior's last gasp

Wingtip to wingtip soundless assault
Ruthless hunger final approach

Wingtip to wingtip a shot fires
A lonely warrior flies to die

Wingtip to wingtip skyglider no more
Death has opened its waiting door
