creativity hits the brain
electrifying the cortex
grasping my neck
gasping for fresh breath
inducing goosebumps
running along my spine
flowing through my hands
down to my fingers
onto my pen
spewing written pain
paper with ink stains
like blood filled wounds
spilling different hues
drip drip dripping
blurring the bars on the paper
that imprisons this frail heart
