When Kings Can Be Fools; When Fools Can Be Kings

by Jersey D Gibson

Time is a'runnin out;it's time to run out
brought to you by this election season;bought for you for this elected scheme
watched on by the Heads of State;we have lost our heads as of late
wars cost money, bring it on;bring it on, life cost money

How did slugs and snakes get so high;slugs and snakes pay to get on by
greased on by the dollar sign;it's all over, here's your sign
advertisement leads the poll;advertisement owns your soul
this is when kings can be fools;this is when fools can be kings

When you didn't vote, you voted it in;when you didn't say, you voiced it in
when you don't speak, we'll speak for you;when you don't argue, we'll oppress, true
like a strike, we have your back;like a knife, I stabbed your back
you die, I get rich, it works;it works, I get rich, you die.

Few truer words have been said. It is money all about money and power. When everone is right then everyone is wrong! Good write.
