i couldnt feel you,
your words, your touch,
it was all a distant light
through a fog.
a sea-scape with walls
of mist surrounding me,
i could barely see my feet.
i could barely feel my face.

i am vanishing without a trace.

i feel my body like a shell,
a sea-thing that cannot feel the waves,
a creature with no closure,
only escape.

i want to feel you.

i need to sober up.
