Pain blisters her heart
and hot tears singe her cheeks
for what must be the millionth time.

Will she never learn her lesson?
She guesses not
for each time this happens
she swears things will change.

She hurts immensely
feels as though
she should just give up
and lead the lonely life
for she will never be able
to make anyone worthwhile happy.

She swipes away her tears angrily,
makes her decision
and turns off the computer.
She returns to bed
happy for now
that she released her inner demons.
