the phoenix doubts by Peter Hsuskinny senile mind
how starved are you for company
cold sanity is a meager meal

leaving me sprawled
numbed by this maddest season

the flaming hounds of summer
whether my heart will beat dead ashes
or blaze with blossoming flame
i don't know
