For pursuits of the flesh,
all that excitement
of the hunt
and anticipated capture
is gone in the morning.

True it is too, for the hunter.
His tactics are ruthless
and without more primal desires
held within a prey's purpose
he flees unwarranted.

I just wanted you to know
that passion is my drive.
The more we pursue this
an increased desire grows.

I'm the hopeless hunter.
Your heart and mind
are what I seek.

One guarantee is I won't be
gone in the morning.
