Reflections by Curtis SethalerI am not afraid
Nor
Am I willing to play the victim
To your success
Your conquests
You fleeting desire to beat everyone at everything
I am not the greatest at
Telling you bluntly
That I hate how you are
I am sickened by how you act
How you look and
How every ten seconds
You stake claim to something
“Awesome”
I’m a little lost and
A Little lonesome
And now that we’re having this
Conversation if you will,
Maybe we can be on a path to change
But this mirror
I’m standing in front of
As I tell you these things
Is broken though our face
Almost symbolically pointing out
That we are the two halves of this same shell
Destined to dance forever,
Stepping on each others toes
In our head………………
