Bridget by V. Blakei remember thinking you looked like a movie star.
i knew you were prettier than other girls, even before
i had any real concept of what a pretty girl was.
i sat with you in my car when the sky came down.
i never kissed you. i should have tried.
i doubt you will ever see this poem. if you do,
i won't have been the one that read it to you.
i hope that one takes credit for writing it.
i hope you like what you hear.
i saw a photo of you today.
i was not surprised
you were not alone. 04/05/2012 Posted on 04/05/2012 Copyright © 2024 V. Blake

Posted by Mo Couts on 04/05/12 at 08:33 PM Ahh, Bridget. I currently have one in my life, too. She's as beautiful as the one you described. |
