Spring 2012

by Keith D Allison

Listen
is there any rumbling

The tumbling whisper
the winds of spring are about to call
be careful
my friend

For the breeze
will bring a warmth
to your skin

The love
that dances from above
we'll touch
your nose
making you sneeze
laugh not

Watch the flags
waving in the wind's
but with a trembling smile
listen
for the song
that mother nature's
writes in the spring Rhapsody

Beware young man
for in spring

there is
a sparkling fluttering
adrift in the wind

Brown's
Greens
blues in different hues
they are after you
the warrant is written

In the warmth of the night
the flowers to bloom

Spring
Lights
a fire
that in circles
it call
that life might grow

Beautiful and now I am trembling along with that fresh breeze! Spring has come extra early in Michigan..been in the 80's past few days but we had not much of a winter! Thanks for posting this for us!

Vivid images, and probing thoughts. Nice combo, Keith! Thanks.
