i never believed in the holy spirit,
just the ever increasing ratio
of man to God.
the cold hard facts of the expanse
of divide between autonomy and monopoly.
religion appears to be a popularity vote
between politicians and clergy.

what tenuous thing
deflates the good founding figureheads,
and reduces them to rhetoric
and mudslinging
in the presence of
government office.
