Hold Your Breath (and) Never Look Back

by Jersey D Gibson

back against the wall/wall against the back
nowhere else to run/run to nowhere else
the blisters on your hands/the hands begin to blister
foil all your plans one more time/time to foil your plans once more

I see all of you/you see all I am
I am the great destroyer/destroyer of great I am
feel your pulse begin to quicken/quicken your pulse begin to feel
all that you do is for naught/naught all you do is for that

hold your breath and never look back/never look back and hold your breath
I have but left you in ruins/the ruins I have left you
too many times I have left you/I have left you too many times
in the end you know I will laugh/I will laugh in the end you know
