D-fault settings

by Laura Doom

the length of a poem
that fails to embrace
a bit of give and take

the width of a smile
whose charm is defined
by its ability to spell

the depth of feeling
measured by remorse
submerging intuition

the time passing
under a crumbling bridge
that demands my attention

an uneasy truth
I call in secret
for you alone to hear

A perfect title for this most excellent arrangement of nouns and verbs....I love reading your poetry...thank you for posting this!

It leaves me wanting to hear the truth...from your pen to my ears!

A-sharp penning whetting my ears, singing, let's go so far to say.

Miss Doom, you never fail to embrace and leave me wondering for more.

A little more stripped down than usual, but there's no doubt about the writer here, or her considerable talent.

A five dimensional pillar of pure poetry.

Whimsical but real. I like it.
