TAKE ME HOME by James Edwardslike a shadow caged
like a play staged
like a book, for everyone to read
i look, i see
you and everyone
that is or that is not
i stir, i move
i sit and pant
only sometimes
rave and rant
i wonder, i growl
i twinkle at your prowl
will it be you?
yes yes--you?
or is it another
one
a day too good to be true
touch me through this glass
play with me for a while
please
am tied and tired and i tried
to please
this air kills me
suffocates my
wings if i had i would fly
away from here
and away from everywhere
pray, just wait, i ask
dont go away please
take a while to, a while to
decide my fate
