My Valentine (2012)

And full of
Peace.
My aura shimmers,
Ready to burst
With the married scents
Of you and I
Mingling
In the same space.
I am exceptionally grateful -
Honey’d eyelids
Thirsty for each moment,
Project gleeful intentions for
Our future moments,
Every one of them.
Such a world
For me
I never even imagined.
Such enchantment
From you
I could never have
Predicted.
A cherished Valentine’s Day,
The arrows displayed
Above a fiery hearth
In a home
Made for two.
