believing in my own voice
becomes a chore. i am told
to submit my work, to
realize i can accomplish anything,
but i can't swallow
the belief i need.

i become overwhelmed in
the good, i become exhausted by
the bad, and i don't know if
i even believe in a difference
between the two;

however, i know there is
a power in questioning everything
and i fight to keep it.
