If Pterodactyls Carried Off Our Lovely Two-Year Old Twins by Terry OlynikI would call 911.
And then my wife.
And then my mom.
And maybe the Audubon Society.
01/12/2012 Author's Note: This scenario would be identical I believe, if only one of the twins, even the ugly one, was scooped up.

Posted by Don Matley on 01/14/12 at 02:10 AM A pterodactyl landed in my yard once. I was suspicious when the metal bird-feeder was swinging so violently that I knew something huge had lit from there. Then I saw it live as life itself. A huge creature that looked prehistoric indeed. It turned out only to be a huge pileated woodpecker. But it was awesome and other-worldly. Your poem is clever and provoking I enjoyed it much. Thanks. |
