Thank You

by E. A. Pugh

Thank You

A midnight’s sun summer
warm, lifts hair
on forearms, tumble weed
blows,
for I am you.

Orange delight rises in our horizon,
bright plink and blue,
tangled in delight,
a kiss or two,
or more.
flat palm sweets and skin
I love you
I love you
Goodbye
to you.

Till, bodies flutter on dark’ed Street,
kited hearts flying in white, in the hot setting sun,
cheek to cheek, seeking soft hairs upon your arm,
drink you up,
drink you in.
Grace me again.

*sigh* This is decadence in your pen; in your heart. Love love, Ali!!!

This has warmth and soul for more miles than I can count. Love it.

I like the style, I'm not sure if I've read anything quite like it before. It's lovely.
